Triathlon Camp Available To US Triathletes (This Will Be Incredible)

When I was 13 years old I attended a swim camp run
by the greatest Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps
and his coach Bob Bowman.

They were in my hometown of Melbourne, Australia
running a technique clinic for junior swimmers. Being
a young kid who looked up his heros I was starstruck.

Seeing the guy who I knew from television in the flesh
was enough to make me tremble at the knees with
excitement and nerves.

But what was more impactful than meeting my hero
face-to-face, was how watching him swim rubbed off
on my own swimming. There's so much to learn from
athletes at the top of their field that when you see them
train and race and you hear them explain things, it can
radically change your own performance.

To this day I still use and teach many of the things
Phelps and Bowman taught at that clinic.

At the end of December I'll be coaching at an amazing
triathlon camp run by Triathlon Research. It's happening
over 4-days in Florida and some of the biggest names
in triathlon willl be in attendance. I've provided the details
below.

Gwen Jorgensen

What: Learn to Race Like a Champion at the Triathlon Research Winter Camp

Where: National Training Center, Clermont, FL (Next to Orlando Disney World)

When27 - 31 December, 2014

Who's there:

  • Gwen Jorgensen (#1 Female ITU athlete in the World)
  • Jamie Turner (Gwen's Coach, as well as top Squad with Aaron Royale)
  • Bobby McGee (6-Time Olympic Running Coach)
  • Myself
The camp is ideal for triathletes who are looking to race better, improve their skills
and mingle with the 'best of the best' in the triathlon world. It's open to triathletes
of all ages and speeds.

There's a strict limit of 40 athletes (and I know almost half of those have been filled
so far).

For that reason there's a 45-minute strategy call for those that are interested in the
camp because it will sell out and they're making sure each particpant is right for
the camp. You can register your interest at the website below:

I'll be there teaching the open water skills and swim technique that will help you
rocket up the rankings in your swim leg. There'll also be lots of time to chat at the
dinners and drinks at the end of the day.

There have been rave reviews from the recent summer camp run by Triathlon
Research and this winter camp is shaping up to be even better.

I hope to see you there!
