PHOENIX, Arizona. FOUR U.S. Masters Swimming national records
were set in short course yards over the weekend, with the first of
several state and regional championship weekends taking place across the

Sun Yang, Ye Shiwen Fire Up Chinese Nationals With Blistering Swims
ZHENGZHOU, China. OLYMPIC champions Sun Yang and Ye Shiwen had
overall outstanding meets during the eight-day long Chinese Long Course
National Championships, a precursor for what is to come from China at
the 2013 FINA World Championships later this summer.
Ryan Cochrane Closes Out Distance Sweep In Final Night in Canada
VICTORIA, Canada. OLYMPIC silver and bronze medalist Ryan
Cochrane closed out a strong meet at the Canadian World Championship
Trials with his third title of the week.
Maxime Rooney and Benjamin Ho Steal Show at Speedo Far Western Champs
SAN JOSE, California. THE 2013 Speedo Far Western Championships
wrapped up in style at the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center. Although the
race of the night went to the duel between PEAK's Benjamin Ho and
Pleasanton's Maxime Rooney in the boy's 13-14 400 IM, there were
highlights across the board
on the last night of finals.
York Fires It Up Again on Final Night; Danielle Valley Notches Distance Mark
GREENSBORO, North Carolina. THE final evening of action at the
YMCA Short Course Nationals featured three more YMCA records falling by
the wayside.
Ryan Lochte, Missy Franklin Highlight Packed Field at Arena Grand Prix
MESA, Arizona. OLYMPIC gold medalists Ryan Lochte (Daytona
Beach, Fla.), Dana Vollmer (Granbury, Texas), Missy Franklin
(Centennial, Colo.) and Nathan Adrian (Bremerton, Wash.) will compete at
the Arena Grand Prix at Mesa, which runs from April 11-13 in Mesa,
Ariz. The event is the fourth
stop of the six-meet 2012-13 Arena Grand Prix Series and will be held at
the Skyline Aquatic Center.
Water Polo Wednesday: Stanford Puts Together Strong Weekend
One of the more ideal spots to take a spring break vacation
would be Hawaii. And that's exactly what several California teams
did--take a trip to Honolulu to compete in the University of Hawaii's
Spring Break Tournament.

PALO ALTO, California. WHILE the NCAA Division I Swimming
Championships were taking place in Indianapolis, across the country at
Stanford University, the US Collegiate Synchronized Swimming
Championships were in full swing. The competition ran March 20-23 and
included solo, duet, trio and

today in Rio De Janerio, Brazil. Isaksen, who finished fourth in the
London Games, defeated all three Olympic medalists from those Games in
route to her
gold medal in this grueling five-sport event.
High School State Swimming Championships: Pennsylvania 3A
LEWISBURG, Pennsylvania. SEVEN state records fell during the
Pennsylvania 3A Swimming and Diving Championships March 15-16 at
Bucknell University. Hershey's girls team reclaimed the title they last
won in 2011, while La Salle College High School earned the boys crown
for the second
straight season.
