NCAA Division I Women's Championships: California Wins Team Title
AUSTIN, Texas. CALIFORNIA concluded the meet with a victorious 424 points. Georgia wound up taking second with 394.5 points, while Southern California completed the season with a third-place finish with 351 points. Stanford (272) and Arizona (266) finished fourth and fifth. Texas (232), Florida (226), Auburn (202), Minnesota (192) and Texas A&M (182) rounded out the top 10, while Wisconsin (160), Tennessee (148), Virginia (105), LSU (89) and Indiana (86.5) made up the top 15.
NCAA Division II Championships: Drury Sweeps Men's, Women's Title Amid Several NCAA DII Records
SAN ANTONIO, Texas. THE NCAA Division II Championships came to a close with Drury sweeping the team titles in the short course yard meet held in San Antonio, Texas.
NAIA National Championships: Cal Baptist Women, Fresno Pacific Men Win Team Titles
ST. PETERS, Missouri. THE National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Championships closed the curtain on 2011 with the Cal Baptist women and Fresno Pacific men winning the short course yard meet.
NJCAA National Championships: Indian River Keeps Rolling
BUFFALO, New York. TWO more NJCAA records took a tumble during the third night of short course yard swimming at the National Junior College Athletics Association National Championships. Additionally, Indian River State College kept rolling toward its 37th and 30th straight men's and women's NJCAA team titles.

NCSA Junior Nationals: Rachel Bootsma Doubles Again To Close Meet
ORLANDO, Florida. THE NCSA Junior Nationals closed out in Orlando tonight with Rachel Bootsma delivering another pair of wins with outstanding short course yards times. Kristen Vredeveld also provided an outstanding performance, beating the National Age Group record in the 15-16 girls' 50 free.
USA Swimming Sectionals, Fort Lauderdale: Ryan Lochte, Peter Vanderkaay Win Multiple Titles
FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida. OVER the weekend, Fort Lauderdale hosted a USA Swimming Sectional. The meet took place in long course meters. Davie Nadadores won the men's team title with 668 points, while Fort Lauderdale earned the women's team title with 433 points. Bluefish took second in both races with 510 points among the men and 355 points in the women's events.
Japan Cancels National Championships; May Hold Tsunami Charity Event
TOKYO, Japan. THE Japanese Swimming Federation decided today to cancel the 2011 Japanese National Championships, which were scheduled from April 5-10 at the Tatsumi International Swimming Center. Due to the catastrophe earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan, the Tatsumi pool sustained partial damage to its water systems.
