Construction Starting on Competition Pool for FINA World Championships
BARCELONA, Spain. WHILE the United States and Great Britain are
choosing the athletes who will compete in the pool swimming events at
the world championships, organizers have begun construction on the
competition pool in Barcelona's famed Palau Sant Jordi.

Virginia Alums Asking for Investigation into Mark Bernardino's Retirement
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia. A Virginia Cavalier alumni group,
led in part by Olympic gold medalist Matt McLean, is asking for a full
investigation into what led to former head coach Mark Bernardino's
retirement a week ago. The group also is asking that a search for a
replacement be frozen
until said review occurs.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California. USA Water Polo Women's Senior
National Team Head Coach Adam Krikorian has announced the travel roster
for the 2013 FINA World Championships set for this July in Barcelona,
Spain.
