New Adult and Child Qualification from the ASA

New Adult and Child Qualification from the ASA The ASA has created a nationally recognised, formal qualification in baby swimming.
The new ASA Level 2 Award in Coaching Aquatic Pre Fundamentals replaces the previous Adult and Child CPD.
This new course provides Level 2 teachers with specialist knowledge to deliver parent and baby lessons, focusing on early years child development and planning effective and inspirational lessons.

2013 - 2017 ASA Strategy
Don't forget that you can find the ASA's 2013-2017 strategy online on the ASA website, which outlines six strategic objectives and key performance indicators for the next four years.
The strategy, developed in conjunction with the ASA's funding agreement with Sport England, is guiding the way the ASA works and sets down its priorities and targets for everyone to see.

Get People Swimming Participation Conference 2013

Get People Swimming Participation Conference 2013 The Get People Swimming Participation Conference will take place on Friday 18th October at the Daventry Court Hotel, Daventry.
The GPS team aim to increase participation in swimming in the UK by working with pool operators to provide a high quality experience for all pool users.
Pool operators are encouraged to attend for the opportunity to hear from guest speakers and attend workshops around British Gas Swimfit, the British Gas ASA Learn to Swim Pathway and many others.
Delegates can also speak to ASA staff about new ASA programmes and products.
