  Today kicks off the inaugural interactive 10-day countdown to the 2010 Ford Ironman World Championship broadcast on NBC! Starting today, visitors to www.facebook.com/ironmantri and www.Lavamagazine.com will have the opportunity to read, watch and comment about never-before-seen portions of this year's show. Both sites will include sneak peeks from the telecast, including quotes from featured athletes and exclusive video clips, along with exciting promotions. The broadcast, airing on NBC on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. EST, will showcase the raw power and competitive nature of the professional field as well as impressive stories of courage and determination demonstrated by all participants.    |
