Spice Up The Lunge With Some External Rotation!
SANTA CLARA, California. MANY swimmers lack rotation and
extension, mainly due to overactivity of their shoulder internal
rotators combined with the amount of sitting performed by the average
person. This dynamic lunge with rotation exercise, introduced by COR
founder G. John Mullen, looks
to increase thoracic rotation and extension while providing a dynamic
movement to combat shoulder internal rotation.

Pursley Pep Talks: Just For The Heck of It!
One of the required sets for all of the swimmers in one of our
national team camps was a 3,000-meter swim for time. While this may have
been a routine set for some of the distance swimmers, it was a shock to
the system for the sprinters. In the age of race-specific training,
many would
argue that there was no purpose or benefit for the sprinters to do that
kind of a set. I disagree.

about it yesterday, with the announcement of the FINA Swimming World
Cup stops, it now is confirmed that Berlin will not be hosting a World
Cup in 2014. According to N24, this is probably due to the fact that
Berlin will
already host the LEN Long Course European Championships in August. Doha,
Qatar however, is going to host both a World Cup and the FINA Short
Course World Championships this year.
