The Rookie Lifeguard Award developed by the Royal Lifesaving Society and the ASA can give budding lifeguards a headstart. As well as offering parents the comfort of knowing their children are
aware the dangers of swimming in open water, you can also ensure
children have a solid safety education, and learn rescue and
resuscitation techniques. To deliver Rookie Lifesaving, Level 2 teachers must have the RLSS Rookie Instructor Qualification. Click here to find out more about the course and here to find a course near your pool.
