ASA Aquatics Conference Saturday 19th October 2013
The ASA Aquatics Conference 2013 will take place on Saturday 19th October at the Daventry Court Hotel, Daventry. This year's focus is 'A fresh approach for clubs.'
As well as hearing guest speakers from the swimming fraternity, delegates will attend workshops covering topics outlined within the newly launched Club Strategy - including swim21, new solutions for growing a club's workforce and developing effective pool programming within a facility that underpins the athlete pathway.
Delegates will also be able to speak to ASA staff in the Communication Zone about new and exciting campaigns to be delivered for swimming.
Keep the date free, and watch this space for confirmed timings and full details which will be announced nearer the time.

Get Safe - Reminder!

Get Safe - Reminder! Drowning is the third highest cause of accidental death in children and more than half of incidents happen at rivers, lakes, canals and reservoirs.
The ASA's 'Get Safe' campaign seeks to ensure young people know how to stay safe while having fun in and around water.
With summer now upon us it's an ideal opportunity to give young people in your area the chance to learn about the dangers posed by open water by holding a 'Get Safe' event. To get access to great free resources to help run your event you need to act fast, as there are only limited stocks available.
Act now! Sign up to hold your own 'Get Safe' event.
