Swimming World Launches Total Access Subscription Model 
PHOENIX, Arizona. SWIMMING World has officially launched its metered pay wall under the name Total Access. Those loyal customers with Premium accounts have already been converted to Total Access. The company will no longer provide unlimited free access to its online content without financial support from the swimming community.
Mare Nostrum, Monaco: Chad Le Clos Doubles Again in 100 Fly, 400 IM 
MONTE CARLO, Monaco. THE 2012 Mare Nostrum wrapped up today with the last finals session in Monaco. South Africa's Chad Le Clos took home his fourth gold of the weekend while France's Camille Muffat set another meet record in the women's 400 free.
China's Li Zhesi Tests Positive for EPO 
BEIJING, China, June 9. WORD out from Chinese media outlets, including Xinhua and Sina, reports that Chinese sprinter Li Zhesi has tested positive for erythropoietin (EPO), announced the Chinese Anti-Doping Agency today.

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa. THE South Africa Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee on Wednesday named the athletes who will compete at the London Olympics across many sports, including a 16-member swimming squad.
Timing System Suspicions Confirmed in Preliminary Analysis, More Data Needed 
DEBRECEN, Hungary. THE 31st LEN European Long Course Championships concluded with controversy once again regarding the timing systems used in the sport. Initially, this time, the timing system problem was regarding a relay exchange and no-show data streams that failed, however, the problems may go much deeper than originally suspected.

PHOENIX, Arizona. COMPETITIVE swimming has been around for hundreds of years, long before Baron Pierre de Coubertin founded the 1896 Olympics. LAUSANNE, Switzerland. FINA posted the qualifying times and procedures for the 2013 FINA World Championships to take place in Barcelona, Spain. The meet will take place July 28-August 4.
USA Swimming Looking For Help to Get Word Out About Logo Placement on Caps at Trials 
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado. RECENTLY, USA Swimming has contacted the online swimming community to help get the word out about rules for logos on caps at the U.S. Olympic Trials later this month.
USA Swimming Grand Prix Returning to Arizona With Mesa Aquatics as Host 
MESA, Arizona. THE USA Swimming Grand Prix will return to Arizona in April 2013 for a four-year stint, specifically to the growing city of Mesa on the eastern edge of Phoenix.
USA Water Polo Announces Final Training Roster For 2012 U.S. Olympic Men's Team 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, California. TERRY Schroeder, Head Coach for the U.S. Olympic Men's Water Polo Team, today announced the final 14 athletes in training to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games this summer in London, England at a press conference at the LA84 Foundation in Los Angeles, CA. LA84 Foundation Chairman, Bob Graziano and President, Anita DeFrantz welcomed the team to open the press conference. Only 13 athletes will compete for Team USA, the final 13 will be announced at a later date. Featuring eleven returners from the 2008 team that won the Silver Medal, the team clinched a berth to the 2012 Olympic Games by winning Gold at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.
FINA Announces Full List of Open Water Olympians Following Setubal Qualifier 
LAUSANNE, Switzerland. THE list of the 50 athletes (25 men and 25 women) competing at the marathon swimming 10km races at the 2012 Olympic Games in London (GBR) has been established after the completion of the FINA Olympic Marathon Swim Qualifier, organised in the Setubal Bay in Portugal on June 9-10, 2012.
