USA Swimming to Require Hand Signals for Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing Swimmers at U.S. Olympic Trials
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado. LESS than 24 hours after deaf Olympic Trials qualifier Marcus Titus took to Facebook in protest of the potential lack of hand signals at the U.S. Olympic Trials, USA Swimming has confirmed to Swimming World that officials will be required to use proper hand signals for all deaf and hard-of-hearing swimmers at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha. National Team Director Frank Busch, Titus' former coach at the University of Arizona, has stepped in and will require the use of hand signals at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

TIJUANA, Mexico. TIJUANA(MEX), the last of four meets, successfully concluded the FINA/Midea Diving World Series 2012 with once again a top-level two-day competition, held from April 20-21 and featuring the best divers in action.
Europeans Stop Chinese Sweep in Moscow Stop of FINA Diving World Series
LAUSANNE, Switzerland. MOSCOW (RUS), the third stop of the FINA/Midea Diving World Series 2012, welcomed 53 divers from the world's strongest nations in the sport from April 13-14. At the end of the two-day top-level competition, Germany and host federation Russia prevented a China's sweep of gold by finishing on top in the men's synchro events. Ultimately, no other nation came close to matching China's tally of eight medals (six gold, one silver, one bronze). The European countries collected ten medals: Russia (four), Italy and Ukraine (two), Germany and Great Britain (one). USA (four), Canada and Malaysia (one) also climbed the podium in Moscow.
