Japan Open: Kanako Watanabe Shines With Sterling Breaststroke Swim
OSAKA, Japan. THE Japan Open came to a close in Osaka, Japan with quite a few more world-class swims, but youngster Kanako Watanabe put the top swim on the scoreboard. The meet took place in long course meters format.
Polish Long Course Nationals: Polish Relay Record Falls; Mateusz Sawrymowicz Nearly Clears 15:00 in 1500 Free
OSTROWIEC SWIETOKRZYSKI, Poland. THE Polish Long Course Nationals pulled down the curtains on a four-day affair with a national record in the women's 400 medley relay. Meanwhile, a few world-ranked individual times also went up on the scoreboard.
USA Swimming Announces Changes to National Junior Team Selection Process
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, May 18. A number of changes have been made to the operational plan for the USA Swimming National Junior Team. The changes are as follows:

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina. THE Charlotte UltraSwim came to a close in North Carolina with several more strong efforts being produced. The meet is taking place in long course meters format.
Cullen Jones Downs Josh Schneider in Much Hyped 50 Free Swimoff
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina. NEARLY a year's worth of drama finally came to an end as Cullen Jones vanquished his Josh Schneider specter with a 22.24 to 22.28 victory in the men's 50 free swimoff for the final spot on the U.S. roster for the World Championships in Shanghai. The swim took place on the first night of long course meter swimming at the Charlotte UltraSwim. Both times rank in the top 15 in the world rankings this year.
